Special Guest Author Lynn Marie Smith
Ms. Rothfeld, Ms. Smith, Ms. Mac

After her presentation, Ms. Smith signed copies of her book for students and faculty alike. She was also kind enough to pose for some pictures. (right)

A special thank you to Lynn Marie and to Jen of the Clearwater Library System for sponsoring Ms. Smith's visit. It was a day to remember, and something our students will never forget.

To further help protect our students against the influence of drugs, Lynn Marie Smith, author of the nonfiction work, "Rolling Away: My Agony with Ecstacy" visited CHS in September. During her hour long presentation, Ms. Smith was candid about her abuse of ecstacy and also took questions from the audience. Ms. Smith also showed a snip of the MTV television show "True Life" and students were riveted by her story.
