NOW THIS IS A FLASHBACK!!
Is it a helicopter, Is it a truck?
This
is a Vehicle you'll very rarely hear about anymore.
this
is a custom 18 wheeled truck that suposidly opened up for a helicopter
to launch from the frame. Is it real?
Well
the truck truely exists, but the chopper escape conversion is fantasy.
A cool
idea although it is quiet extreme, espescially for the early 80"s.
Check
out YouTube for some cool vids to see it transform.
This
picture shows that the whole cab is the front of a helicopter,
the
top of the cab opens out towards the wheels and the rotor of the
chopper raises up and starts to rotate .
At
the same time the chassis of the helicopter lifts up from the truck
chassis and gives room for lift off.
After
the Landmaster , this will be the next lego replica
possibly with an Air Hogs Havoc type heli for the chassis to lift from
frame.
Though
the Landmaster is FAR from complete though it is still growing to the
real thing, slowly but surely.
Some
pics soon to come, until then it something that needs more
power to accomplish what the original can conquer, rough terrain, water
etc.

The
Mega Force Buggy!
Ok,
this is a stretch, but this is a vehicle we all remember from that
cheezy flick bout an underground military with a little flambouyant
flare to the characters, like Rocky Horror meets technology.
(Thank god for no
musiclals )
Though the vehicles were
cool, there was obviosly this the stealth
attack buggy, then there was a comunications truck that was
filled
with the highest tech texas instrements calculator tracking devises,
( I said it was cheezy)

This
thing is fully equiped with the top of the line testors
rockets on the roof to mimic missiles. the look like rockets in the
film climax , rather amusing though cool.
